Diya has become very naughty ..wants to do everything herself..Her legs never appear to be tired during the day ...Sh speaks a lot..tells stories..but in her own exclusive language

Halebid and Belur : Amazing sculptures

Finally after a long time, we were able to decide on a trip. Thanks for the independence day holiday, we were able to plan a 3 day trip - Halebid, belur, Srirangpattana, Balmuri falls and KRS. This happens to a geographic trainagle consisting of bangalore, hassan and Mysore. Though uncommon, this can be an ideal iterinary for a 3 - 4 day holiday.

Halebid and Belur possess some amazing sculpture and architecture. It's hard to imagine how these stone structures could have been achieved ...This needs amazing skills ..one can only appreciate when infront of them ..

This is Saarang on the 26th ..

" SAARANG "

"Saarang" - Our home was unvieled to the public on 26 Jan 2006, which also happens to be the republic day..

Saarang signifies :
- It is the combination of the names of my parents : Shridevi and Ranganath
- It is the antelope ..( the one with the horns ! )
- It is a musical instrument ( popularly known as Saarangi in Hindi, Sanskrit)
- It is the bow of Vishnu

We had a great event !
